Herbruck Alder Announces Acquisition of Group Health Care Consultants Incorporated of Bowling Green, Ohio

June 4, 2007 - Herbruck Alder recently acquired Group Health Care Consultants Incorporated owned by Glenn Szana of Bowling Green, Ohio. The merger will increase the number of clients served through Herbruck Alder to nearly 650, and will position Herbruck Alder as one of the leading employee benefits brokerage firms in Northern Ohio. The acquisition agreement became effective on April 2, 2007.

Herbruck Alder Targeting the Uninsured

November 27, 2006 - Herbruck Alder recently announced that they will be offering insurance products to individuals who may not have been able to find affordable health insurance in the past. The products being offered include an individual health insurance plan, which is an affordable solution for those who are uninsured. It is ideal for a person who has started a new job, but is not yet eligible for the company’s group coverage plan, or for a person who has recently lost their job. Individual coverage is a long term solution, unlike COBRA, which only lasts 18-36 months.

Herbruck Alder Expands HA Consulting - Joins forces with Bill Morris of MedSource: Wellness

October 26, 2006 - Herbruck Alder has hired Bill Morris to expand the HA Consulting division of Herbruck Alder. This newly expanded division offers expertise in wellness programs, employee benefits consulting, human resources consulting, and actuarial resources. Morris has more than 25 years experience in the group medical insurance industry. Most recently he developed MedSource: Wellness as a way to help lower claims costs for his clients. He will act as the MedSource: Wellness Consultant at Herbruck Alder.
