Cutting Costs While Making Employees Healthier

The Challenge:

The administrator of a Northeast Ohio city with 125 employees told us: "Employee health care costs are going through the roof. What can we do?"

The Herbruck Alder Proposal:

"Implement an employee health and wellness program to improve workers' health and save on insurance costs."

The Long-Term Results:

The city's medical insurance decreased by $200,000 since adopting our program in 2003. Today 85% of employees participate in this wellness program, which has greatly reduced the number of claims. At least one employee's life was saved by an initial screening.
