Group Benefits: Our Process

Herbruck Alder begins with an assessment of our clients’ needs and goals. With that insight, we design customized benefit plans and provide essential support for successful plan operation. Our goal is to make sure our clients and their employees receive full value for their benefit dollars.

Plan Analysis and Design

  • Review existing plans and develop coverage alternatives aimed at maximizing an employer’s financial expenditure while remaining competitive within an industry or region.
  • Evaluate current plan funding method and review advantages and disadvantages of available plan financing alternatives.
  • Gather data and create concise specifications for a Request for Proposal (RFP) with supporting materials that will enable a carrier to understand the coverage parameters and properly assess the risk.
  • Analyze RFP results, review original client objectives, formulate summary conclusions with supporting facts and documentation and recommend a sequential course of action.

Plan Implementation

  • Negotiate with selected carriers to finalize cost structure and coverage details and identify solutions for any outstanding transition issues.
  • Conduct employee meetings to explain the benefit plans with visual, auditory and written aids.
  • Develop written materials that explain the program in a manner that is understood by all levels of employees.

Client Support
