Jon Alder recruited Peter Herbruck in 1962 while he was at Hamilton College. Peter recruited David Herbruck in 1968 following his service with the United States Marine Corps. Jon also recruited Mark Alder, current president, while he was at Miami University in 1976. Mark recruited Marc Waite, current treasurer, in 1981 upon his graduation from Ohio Wesleyan. In the years following, we have recruited additional family members and many highly skilled professionals who have become “family.” They have all helped us to build an organization that is bound by loyalty to one another and commitment to our clients.
Herbruck Alder is owned by its members who collectively bring more than 250 years of experience to our business. As a privately-owned company, we understand the unique challenges and opportunities of closely-held corporations. We face the same complex issues of business valuation, ownership succession and strategic planning for compensation and benefits to attract and retain highly qualified employees.
Our clients are the most important asset of our company followed by the intellectual property we contribute to the solutions for their employee benefits needs.
